DIRECTIONS

The American Legion Post is located at Browning Road and Railroad Avenue in Brooklawn, New Jersey. This is about six blocks from Route 130. The intersection of Browning Road and Route 130 is two miles south of the Walt Whitman Bridge. Also, it is four miles from Exit 3 of the New Jersey Turnpike.

FROM THE NORTH USING I-295----Take I-295 south. Keep to the left when you get to the ramp that takes you toward the Walt Whitman Bridge. The ramp merges with I-76. Follow the signs to Route 130 South. Once you are on Route 130 South, proceed to Browning Road (Days Inn) and turn right. Make another right turn at Railroad Avenue. The American Legion is straight ahead .

FROM NORTH JERSEY USING THE NJ TURNPIKE----Take Exit 3 and proceed west toward Camden and Philadelphia on Route 168 (Black Horse Pike). Turn left on Browning Road (second light).      Go to the end of Browning Road and turn right.. The American Legion is straight ahead.

FROM PHILADELPHIA OR DELAWARE----Take the Walt Whitman Bridge. Stay to your right. Take the ramp following signs to Route 130 South. Proceed 1 1/2 miles to Browning Road (Days Inn) and turn right. Go to the end of Browning Road and turn right. The American Legion is straight ahead .
FROM THE EAST----Take the Atlantic City Expressway, Route 42, Route 55 North and West to the North-South Freeway (I-676). Take the first ramp after the I-295 intersection. Turn left on Market Street. Turn left on Route 130 South (Gloucester High School). Proceed 1 1/2 miles to Browning Road (Days Inn) and turn right. Go to the end of Browning Road and turn right. The American Legion is straight ahead.
FROM THE SOUTH----Take I-295 North to the I-676 intersection. Go west toward Philadelphia. Take the first right ramp to Market Street. Turn left onto Market Street. Turn left onto Route 130 South (Gloucester High School). Proceed 1/12 miles to Browning Road (Days Inn) and turn right. Go to the end of Browning Road and turn right. The American Legion is straight ahead . 
TO DUPONT COUNTRY CLUB---------From I-95 in Wilmington, take Exit 8, bear left (Route 202 North) to first exit, following signs for Route 141 South. Take Route 141 South for about one mile to the intersection of 141 South and Childrens Drive leading to A.I. DuPont Hospital. Turn left on Childrens Drive. Turn right on Rockland Road to the Country Club.

FROM DELAWARE/SOUTHERN CHESTER COUNTY---------------    Take either the Delaware Memorial Bridge or the Commodore Barry Bridge to I-295/Route130 North. Take Exit 23 from I-295 continuing on Route 130 North. Go under a railroad trestle to a traffic circle with a  Hess Station on your right. After rounding the circle, take the first right onto Spur Route 551 to the next traffic light (Browning Road). Turn left on Browning Road and cross over Route 130. Go to the end of Browning Road and turn right. The American Legion is straight ahead..
